last night i had a really weird dream. i'm not sure how it started out but in the middle of it i ended up in central park in the '70s. it turned out a couple friends and i took a time machine or something. odd since i wasn't alive until '79 and i was no where near new york city at that time anyway.

it was really weird but cool. there was some sort of fair or something. tons of people around. i remember picking up a paper cup with barbara streisand on it. and there was some issue about drinking straws and animals choking on them.

i know my friend dexter was in the dream but there was also this girl who i've never met but was great friends with. we all ended up at this house somehow and the guy who lived there was a time traveler. he showed us his notes and spoke of things that wouldn't be available until at least the '90s. and other things (like a play station 3) that aren't even available now.

we needed to get back to the present and told the guy we'd visit. then dexter disappeared and we had to look for him. something was wrong. i woke up soon after.
